The Serie A giant celebrated a stunning victory after a 2-1 win against rival, Juventus at San Siro, Italy.

Inter didn’t create much chances but would surely revel in the victory of the night. Banega was all over the midfield playing a variety of roles ranging from a number 6 to a number 10. The win buys more time for De Boer after his poor start at Inter, and similar performances with more creativity up front would make Inter a good bet to challenge for the Champions League plasirol. “It has been wonderful to come back here and experience that connection with the fans. Now it’s down to me to make the squad understand my ideas quickly so that we can taste success again. There’s work to do, but we’re on the right track. First of all, we need to believe we can achieve a third place finish, otherwise there’s simply no point. It’ll be difficult, but you always need to have confidence in your own ability. It’s up to us to go for it, both in Serie A and the Europa League,” said Mancini.

ETO’O PLEASED WITH START

Inter Milan striker Samuel Eto’o says that he is happy with the club’s start this season’s Champions League. The Nerazzurri managed a 2-2 draw at tournament debutants FC Twente on Tuesday night, with Eto’o getting his name on the scoresheet.
