Even though those titles are heavily disputed due to the lack of proper competition at that period, the former Manchester City manager is held in high regard. It may be awhile before he starts winning league titles with this Inter team.

“Derbies are always difficult and this was no different. I am very happy with the way the team moved, as with five days together to change a system after a year and a half playing 3-5-2 was not easy. They all did very well. I don’t expect to change a team completely in five days, especially when the systems are different. It will take time, but our objective is to win as many games as possible quickly, even if we’re not at 100 per cent,” said Mancini.
