RomeluLukaku is facing a tough decision about his future as he struggles to find his scoring form. The Belgian striker has been warned that even Christian Vieri, a 49-year-old retired Italian footballer, could outscore him at this point in his career.

Lukaku's performance has been a far cry from his £97m return to Chelsea. After joining Inter Milan on a season-long loan deal, he has only managed to score five goals in all competitions. This is quickly becoming the lowest total of his entire career, putting his future with the club in doubt.

Despite his slow start, the 29-year-old is determined to prove himself and make a comeback. He suffered a hamstring injury in August, which kept him out of action for a significant period. However, Lukaku is eager to put the injury behind him and get back to his best.As he contemplates his future, Lukaku will need to focus on getting back to his scoring ways if he wants to silence the critics and secure his place at Inter Milan.
Inter Milan became the sanctuary for Romelu Lukaku after he failed to meet the expectations set for him at Manchester United following his impressive stint at Everton. Lukaku made 96 appearances for the Red Devils, scoring 42 goals and providing 13 assists. Inter Milan swept in and secured Lukaku's services from the English club, and the Belgian striker proved to be the pivot around which the entire team operated in just one season. He silenced his critics and led Inter Milan to end Juventus' nine-year-long Serie A reign.
As a result, Lukaku's stock rose in the market, and clubs clamored to acquire his services. Chelsea broke the bank and offered a whopping £97.5m to sign Lukaku from Inter Milan. Although he spent just one season with the Italian giants, he became a force to be reckoned with. However, Lukaku's return to Chelsea proved to be a miscalculation, and he was sent back to Italy. Despite making 15 appearances this season, playing for almost 701 minutes, Lukaku only managed to score four goals and provide one assist. Chelsea is yet to decide what to do with the striker.
