SNEIJDER WANTS ROBBEN AT INTER

Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder has said that he would like to have Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben at the Italian club next season.

Former Chelsea winger Arjen Robben has been linked with a move away from Bayern Munich, but he recently quelled any speculation by signing a new contract with the club until 2015.

However, the Dutch winger missed a crucial penalty against Chelsea in the final of the Champions League, which has led to intense criticism by the Bayern Munich fans. Hence, it is thought that he is reportedly considering his future.

Wesley Sneijder and Arjen Robben were teammates at Real Madrid before they parted ways to Inter Milan and Bayern Munich respectively. Wesley Sneijder has gone on to lift many trophies with Inter Milan, while Arjen Robben has suffered many heartbreaks during his time at Bayern Munich.

He has played in two Champions League finals in three seasons, but has suffered heartbreak in both of them. As a result, it is thought that he would be willing to start a new career at a different club. The 28-year-old will certainly find it extremely easy to find a suitable club. Sneijder has come forward by saying that Robben should join Inter Milan in the summer.

"The reaction from the fans was scandalous. Not only that, but over the last few days no-one at Bayern has defended him. By doing that, they're shutting him out. Arjen has had a very disappointing evening. If it was my decision, he'll come to Inter this summer,'' Sneijder said in response to the criticism Arjen Robben faced in the friendly match between Bayern Munich and the Dutch national team. Around 35,000 Bayern Munich supporters decided to boo the Dutchman after his penalty miss in extra time proved to be the difference between Bayern Munich winning the title and losing it.
