Robert Gagliardi Might Leave Inter Milan Soon

Roberto Gagliardi, the Inter Milan midfielder might leave Nerazzuri before the end of the winter with Nottingham, the Premier League side keen on signing him. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Italia transfer market expert reported the English team had been working to get the deal done for Robert Gagliardini in the next few days.

So, there is little doubt that Gagliardini is going to be on his way from Inter Milan by the end of summer as the present contract of the young player with Nerazzurri runs out by the end of June. There is no chance that the contract is going to be extended. Serie A teams have expressed an interest in signing the former player from Atalanta during the summer this month or free transfer, while some interest has been shown from abroad.

Nevertheless, Forest has come up as a serious candidate for signing Gagliardini and they don’t wait until the following summer. Di Marzio claims that the English team that is presently in the middle of the first season back in the top flight following promotion from the last season’s Championship is pushing to agree on a deal for signing Gagliardini before the transfer window shuts down.
Gagliardini can add further top-flight pedigree to the side of Steve Cooper that would help them in their ongoing battle for avoiding the drop. He has spent his whole career in Italy after he progressed through the ranks of the Atalanta academy. He had many loan spells away from the club at the likes of Vicenza, Spezia, and Cesena before progressing to the first team of Atalanta in 2016.
He had been quite regular in his first 5 seasons at the club and had scored 28 league appearances when Inter Milan won the Serie A in the 2020-21 season.
