Milan Skriniar’s agent responds to Slovakian’s future with Inter Milan

The representative of Milan Skriniar has revealed that discussions are underway to commit his client to a new long-term contract with Inter Milan. The Slovakia international only joined the Nerazzurri from Sampdoria last year but he has since been hugely influential at the heart of the club’s defence, making over 50 appearances across all competitions.

In an interview covered by The Star, agent KarolCsonto said that the versatile defender is content with the proceedings at San Siro and talks are likely to proceed in the forthcoming months regarding a contract extension with the club, he said:“We're talking about it. We're working on it. It's a subject we'll be facing more intensively over the next few months.

“He is happy with the Nerazzurri shirt, he is playing well, but he is aware there are some difficulties in Serie A. It's a subject we'll be facing more intensively over the next few months Milan Skriniar's agent. Inter had won seven games in a row prior to the loss against Atalanta. He is doing well. I'm happy. He is happy to be playing in the Champions League.”

Inter Milan had recently gone through a seven-match winning run in the Serie A before suffering a disappointing 4-1 defeat at the hands of Atalanta. The result has dropped them nine points behind league leaders Juventus, though they are still comfortably placed with regards to the Champions League positions. Inter have a four point advantage over fifth-placed AC Milan at the moment.
