Lukaku wants to make the move to Inter Milan, claims agent

The representative of Romelu Lukaku has acknowledged that the marksman remains keen on making the move to Inter Milan this summer. The 25-year-old has spent the past two seasons with Manchester United but his future has remained a discussion point with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer not impressed with his mobility on the playing field.

Speaking to Goal.com, Lukaku’s agent acknowledged that the striker want to pursue a move to Inter, though the deal does not remain straightforward, he told the publication: "Lukaku is a dream, a difficult one to make happen as such, but I believe nothing is impossible. Yes [Inter are trying to sign Lukaku]. He's publicly expressed his plans and desires. We'll see what happens."

The Belgian has been dropping regular hints regarding his future and he has recently fuelled speculation that he could join Inter Milan after stating that manager Antonio Conte is the best coach in the world. Nonetheless, the deal remains far from happening at the moment with the Nerazzurri still short of meeting the £80m asking price presented by the Mancunian giants.

United have been active during the opening stages of the summer transfer window and they have already landed the signature of Daniel James from Championship side Swansea City. They could soon follow up the same with the recruitment of Aaron Wan-Bissaka for whom they are on the cusp of agreeing a transfer fee with Crystal Palace.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has placed a keen emphasis on pursuing young British talents this summer but it appears that Wan-Bissaka won’t come on the cheap as they would have to part with a sum of at least £50m. The right-back has recently returned from England duty at the European Under-21 Championship and reports have emerged that he could undergo a medical with United next week.
