BERESZYNSKI ON INTER RADAR – REPORT

Inter Milan are eyeing a possible move for Sampdoria defender Bartosz Bereszynski in their quest to sign a new right wing-back when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.
The interest of Inter Milan in Bereszynski was confirmed bythe Italian publication duo of La Gazzetta dello Sport and Calciomercato.

New Inter Milan manager Simone Inzaghi is keen to get one or two new faces in when the January transfer window reopens and a new right wing-back is at the top of the list for him. Inter director Beppe Marotta recently stated that the Italian Serie A champions want to sign one or two players in line with their manager's ambitions.

Inter Milan had previously been linked with a move for Cagliari defender Nahitan Nandez. The Uruguayan is a specialist right wing-back and he was linked with a move to Inter Milan as a replacement for Moroccan international Achraaf Hakimi who left the Nerazzuri to sign for French giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG) in a deal worth around €70m.Dutch international Denzel Dumfries was eventually signed by Inter Milan in the summer as the replacement for Hakimi. Dumfries was one of the best fullbacks at the Euro 2020 tournament but he's yet to fully adapt to the demands of the Italian Serie A on the back of his move from Dutch Eredivisie side PSV Eindhoven.Italian international Matteo Darmian is another right wing-back at Inter Milan.
Nandez and Bereszynskiare right wing-back options under consideration at Inter ahead of the January transfer window, but the latter represents a low-cost alternative in comparison with the former whom the Nerazzuri tried to sign this summer.
Nandez is a more expensive option for Inter Milan in the transfer market in comparison with Bereszynski though he's younger than the Polish international. Bereszynski has less than two years left on his contract with Sampdoria.
