INTER: CHAMPIONS LEAGUE WINNING RUN ENDED

Inter Milan were on a three-match winning run in the Champions League before they met hosts Real Madrid at the Estadio Santiago Bernebeu on Tuesday night. In the end, Inter Milan lost 2-0 to their Spanish opponents with ten men thereby putting an end to their victory run.

The Italian champions had started Group D with one point from the first two games before embarking on a three-game winning run with victories over Moldovan side Sheriff Tiraspol and Ukrainian team Shakthar Donetsk. The run included back-to-back wins over newcomers Sheriff at home and away from home.

INTER MISSING LUKAKU PENALTY INFLUENCE

Inter Milan are missing the influence of former striker RomeluLukaku from 12 yards and that could be the difference between them winning or failing to win a second successive ItalianSerie A title.

INTER, CAGLIARI REACH AGREEMENT ON DALBERT

Inter Milan and Cagliari have reached an agreement for the transfer of fullback Dalbert according to Sky Sports Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio. The media personnel confirmed that Inter Milan have agreed to loan Dalbert to fellow Italian Serie A team Cagliari on loan for the new season via his show on Wednesday evening. Di Marzio revealed that Dalbert will join Cagliari on loan from Inter Milan this summer and that the Sardinian club will have the option to sign the player on a permanent basis at the end of his loan deal.

Dalbert, 27, don't have a future at the San Siro and Inter Milan officials have been trying to get him off the wage bill. The Brazilian left-back is expected to leave the club this summer despite the change of manager. Ex-Lazio boss Simone Inzaghi has been named the new Inter Milan manager following the exit of title-winning manager Antonio Conte.

PSG REPORTEDLY AGREE DEAL IN PRINCIPLE TO SIGN HAKIMI

French giants Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports coming from various sources, including Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, have agreed a deal with Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan over the transfer of their defender Achraf Hakimi. The Moroccan international defender has been one of the most sought-after players since during the middle of last season and has been linked to several clubs across Europe since then. He was reported to have attracted the interest of English Premier League side Chelsea before PSG entered the race for his signature.
