INTER CHASING VILLAS-BOAS

It has been recently revealed by Italian tabloid papers that Italian club Inter Milan will be considering a move for current Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas, who is under intense pressure at Chelsea right now.

Andre Villas-Boas arrived at Chelsea in the summer after the English club activated a release clause and spent around £ 25 million in acquiring him from FC Porto.

However, he has not delivered the goods so far and there has been rumours that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich will once again be willing to part ways with his manager in the summer.

Sacking manager is definitely not new to Chelsea. One such manager found extreme success with Inter Milan. José Mourinho was the manager and it seems that Inter Milan owner Massimo Moratti sees José Mourinho's successor in the form of Andre Villas-Boas.

As a result, there has been renewed interest from the Italian Giants, who are willing to take away the Portuguese should he be sacked in the summer. Even though Inter Milan appointed former Chelsea manager Claudio Ranieri only during the middle part of the campaign, it seems that Massimo Moratti does not regard Claudio Ranieri to be the manager to get them forward.

Claudio Ranieri guided Inter Milan to some impressive results during the middle part of his reign, but his side has now started shipping goals for fun after the injuries to key defensive players. Even at their best Champions League betting odds both the punters and the bookies believe that nter have nothing more than an outside chance of winning the trophy.

The former Chelsea manager has been unable to stop the leaking defence, which has once again made it tough for Inter Milan to look beyond the Champions League qualifications this season.

Inter Milan have not won a single match in the last four, while they have also conceded eight goals in the same. Chelsea have also not been exactly great in terms of defensive abilities.
