RANIERI GETS EMOTIONAL

Inter Milan manager Claudio Ranieri has said that he will feel like crying if Inter Milan do not progress to the quarter-finals of the Champions League after their 1-0 lead over Marseille from the first leg.

Inter Milan managed to win the first leg encounter between the two clubs 1-0 with a last gasp goal, which many regard to be the crucial one in this tie.

Due to the fact that it is an away goal, Inter Milan are the favourites to qualify for the quarter-finals, while Claudio Ranieri is also nervous because if Inter Milan fail to qualify, then he would feel like crying.

RANIERI GETS BOOST

Inter Milan manager Claudio Ranieri was handed a major boost ahead of the Champions league encounter with Marseille at the San Siro after his side won 2-0 courtesy of two league goals against Chievo during the weekend.

Inter Milan are coming into the match on the back of a poor run of form, which has seen them score just two goals in their last 10 matches in the league. Despite this poor domestic form, they come into the second leg encounter with Marseille with a slender 1-0 advantage from the first leg.

RANIERI DELIGHTED WITH PROGRESS

New Inter Milan manager Claudio Ranieri has said that he has been extremely pleased with the way Inter have progressed under him. Inter Milan struggled a lot during the initial parts of the campaign, which led to the sacking of the manager Gian Piero Gasperini. Claudio Ranieri was appointed in place of Gian Piero Gasperini and he has been excellent so far.
